1.Project Dayal

Sponsoring subsidized/free dialysis sessions

Sponsored approximately 1200 dialysis sessions to underprivileged patients in Bengaluru. This was a lifeline for many families as it reduced their reliance on loans and external support. We aim to expand this project to more people and /or additional locations, contingent on funding. On March 14th, 2024, we celebrated World Kidney Day at Bengaluru with a gathering of dialysis patients, their families, and the staff of Khoros, our principal supporter for this project.
Your support provides lifesaving dialysis sessions for underprivileged patients. Help us expand this vital program and bring hope to more families in need.
2.Project Jal Sahay

Clean Water for Health and Dignity

The need – Villagers in certain places rely on untreated raw water from mountain sources, contaminated with plant matter, animal wastes and other pollutants. No piped water supply. No wells. Significant health risks, water-borne diseases present a persistent threat. Bringing Clean Water and Hygiene to Kuvi Tribal Villages, OSF’s Jal Sahay Project was rolled out in 4 Kuvi tribal locations of which 2 are hill and 2 valley villages. This community-driven approach guarantees long-term impact and improved well-being for generations to come.

This initiative significantly raised health awareness and hygiene practices and provided OTC medicines to manage common ailments. With communities now capable of self-care in using over-the-counter medicines, this project is discontinued from 2024-25, marking a sustainable outcome for the communities.
